Graduate Program Overview

During the 2-year graduate program, you will participate in a series of virtual workshops, social networking activities and technical training from NDY’s technical leaders. You also have the opportunity to participate in potential discipline rotations and connect with senior leaders in the business.

All NDY graduates also join our in-person graduate development program that takes place annually in Melbourne. There you will get together with your fellow NDY graduates to learn, connect and network with each other and the wider business.

How to apply & the recruitment process

  1. Click the button below and complete the application form. You’ll need to include your academic achievement, personal information, career motivation, employment history, extenuating circumstances, language skills, extra-curricular activities and interests. We ask for this extra detail because we’re not just looking for great engineers, we’re looking of great people.
  2. If you’re shortlisted you will be invited to the cognitive ability assessments. These are are designed to test your verbal, numerical, and logical reasoning skills.
  3. Once you get past the cognitive ability test we ask you to undertake a behavioural assessment. This will help us to understand your work style preferences and areas for development.
  4. If you are shortlisted after the behavioural assessment we’ll invite you to a video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us a bit more about yourself.
  5. Face-to-face meet and greet is the final stage of our process is to invite you into our offices to show you around, introduce you to our teams and have a sit-down to ensure your career aspirations and interests align with NDY’s graduate program.

After the final stage of the recruitment process you will receive a call from our graduate manager to inform you of the outcome of your engagement in the process.

  3. Offers will be made to successful candidates thereafter, with a start date early 2024.
