Sam Aloi

Sam is a member of NDY’s Group Executive and as Director of NDY’s Market Sectors & Global Specialist Groups, holds ultimate responsibility for the strategic direction of our service offerings across markets and in the fields of Sustainability, Fire Engineering, Digital, NDYLIGHT, Acoustics, and Vertical Transportation across all regions.

In addition, Sam is the NDY Director responsible for NDY’s subsidiary company, ECS (Engineering Commissioning Services), a leader in the field of Commissioning Management and related services.

Sam previously served as NDY’s Australian Regional Director from March 2015 to March 2025 – maintaining overall responsibility for the strategic direction and operations of all Australian offices. Prior to this appointment Sam was Director-in-Charge of the Melbourne office and has been a member of the NDY Management team since 2007. Sam is also Chair of the NDY Charitable Trust.

As a highly regarded fire engineer with broad industry experience, Sam has led or worked on a number of major projects including Corrections Victoria major projects, Eureka Tower, Australia 108, Australia Post, The State Library of Victoria, ANZ Centre Docklands, Monash University, The Royal Children’s Hospital and AAMI Park.

Sam is also a key contributor to NDY’s ‘International Fire Protection and Life Safety’ research and development committee.
