The Gadigal Station (formerly Pitt Street Station) Integrated Station Development (ISD) is a new underground metro station on the new Sydney Metro City & Southwest line, with 2 high rise over station developments (OSDs).
The North tower OSD is a 39 level, 55,000 m2 commercial building. The South tower OSD is a 39 level, 22,000 m2 build-to-rent residential tower.
NDY was engaged to deliver the Gadigal Station ISD and Approved Engineer OSD Review.
NDY is part of a multi-disciplinary technically assured organisation (TAO) accredited team and the approved engineer to independently review the OSD works delivered by the Gadigal Station ISD developer (Oxford/CPB Contractors/Grocon). The aim of the review is to ensure that the OSD design, construction, operation and maintenance does not have an adverse impact on the metro station.
Our scope includes:
- Review of OSD technical impacts on the station
- Detailed review of 50%, 75% design documentation, documentation at pre-commencement and post completion stage
- Preparation of detailed review at each design stage on the OSD North Tower and South Tower, including impact on design, construction, operation and maintenance of Gadigal Station against a set of key scope of works and technical criteria (SWTC) prescribed by Sydney Metro
- Co-ordination and interface management between OSDs and Gadigal Station
- Preparation of discipline specific requirements verification and traceability matrices (RVTMs)
Preparation of work verification records (WVRs) - Preparation of multi-disciplinary impact summary reports.
Throughout delivery, our multi-disciplinary team identified and managed key issues of interest with the OSD developer proactively mitigating project risks.
