University of Canterbury Secondary Data Centre, Christchurch

NDY was appointed to provide design and site supervision services for this Data Centre Project.

The project consisted of the creation of a new data centre and allied accommodation at ground floor level and the refurbishment of existing office space at first floor level.

This data centre is part of the University of Canterbury critical IT infrastructure and as such includes multiple fail safes in the installed services systems including:

• Duty standby mechanical plant and equipment
• Generator and UPS backed power supply
• Gaslous extinguishing systems.
