Shay Gordon

Prior to joining NDY Shay was Design Manager with New Zealand's largest commercial plumbing company where he gained experience in the design and coordination of efficient, cost effective, working hydraulic systems. Shay has been the Hydraulic Section Head in the Auckland office since he started with NDY in September 2004 and was made an Associate Director in August 2016.

He has over 20 years of experience in designing and coordinating hydraulic systems for a wide range of projects in commercial, institutional, industrial and residential applications. These range from sports arenas, high- and low-rise apartment buildings, office buildings, hotels, and retail developments to hospitals, aged care facilities and medical facilities. His involvement includes the design phase, through construction and commissioning to client hand over.

Shay relates and communicates well with clients, head contractors, architects and especially subcontractors (due to his contracting background) and believes in a proactive approach to both design and problem solving.
