Shelly Thompson
New Zealand Sustainability Lead
Shelly is a key member of the Auckland and NDY global sustainability group. She believes in challenging the performance of our built landscaping from identifying energy and carbon saving strategies through to facilitating spaces which promote occupancy health and wellbeing, and offer us, the occupants, a net positive experience from the buildings in which we reside. Having worked extensively across both new and existing buildings Shelly has developed a passion in recognizing the value and opportunities of existing buildings and infrastructure, with retaining embodied carbon, promoting building adaptation and reuse and identifying energy efficient solutions. With accreditations across WELL, Green Star and NABERSNZ complimented by a technical background in mechanical/HVAC engineering and building simulation, Shelly offers a holistic sustainability contribution to projects and project teams.
