Addressing NDY’s climate change impacts and risks aligns with our values and our commitment to be ethically, environmentally and socially responsible in all that we do. Considering that the built environment is responsible for some 40% of GHG emissions, it is critical that we work hard to assist our clients in decarbonising.
NDY has been carbon neutral since FY20. Our decarbonisation journey and efforts to reduce scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions is supported by our global Decarbonisation Working Group. More recently we began third party verification of our emissions and purchasing high value carbon removal offsets. In FY23 we became a signatory to the World Green Building Council’s Net Zero Commitment, reinforcing our efforts to track towards net zero and support our clients on this journey while reporting on progress through this global initiative.
