Richard works in partnership with clients to define the vision, objectives and strategy for their business using information technology to overcome problems, improve business processes and realise operational efficiencies. His responsibilities include project team leadership, including an initial review of existing environments and liaison with key stakeholders, partners, vendors and service providers to identify issues and risks and undertake gap analysis to develop a roadmap for strategic initiatives. Technology options analysis is undertaken including identification, analysis, and review of options. Richard seeks to identify the case for change and define investment needs (with strategic consideration given for how an investment will be managed). His work contributes to the development of Communications/ICT policies, procedures and the formulation of robust and scalable Communications/ICT architecture, in accordance with established policies and procedures and legislative requirements. Richard has worked on numerous complex projects from strategy and concept design through to procurement and implementation and post-handover support.
