As part of the High Performance Buildings Group within Tetra Tech, NDY has today announced its involvement in the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) membership program as a Keystone member. NDY [A Tetra Tech Company] joins like-minded companies from across the globe that are committed to enhancing buildings and communities to help people thrive.
The membership program at IWBI convenes, celebrates and fosters collaboration with companies and organizations who are leading the movement to advance human health in buildings and communities around the world. This dynamic framework allows NDY to tap into IWBI’s expansive resources and knowledge and demonstrates Tetra Tech’s alignment with IWBI’s mission.
“Since the first WELL projects, we have continued to build the momentum towards a global transformation that puts people at the focus of a healthier future,” says IWBI Chairman and CEO Rick Fedrizzi. “The IWBI membership community is passionate and united around their efforts to elevate wellness in their everyday work, and we are excited to have each of them on this journey.”
NDY has been at the forefront of wellness and the WELL Building Standard since its market release in 2014. “Our team is involved in many significant WELL projects across Australia and overseas, working for both developers and tenants on new and existing building projects,” says NDY Sustainability Manager, Mark McKenna. This work includes Constitution Place, 435 Bourke St (Cbus Property) and NAB’s Wynyard Place, Paramatta Square and 405 Bourke St workplaces. NDY has had many staff participate in exclusive WELL training and have several Accredited Professionals.
“NDY is excited to be a keystone member of the IWBI, allowing us to be at the forefront of market updates and providing our clients insight into developments at the IWBI and within industry,” adds McKenna. “It also allows our staff access to WELL-focused, virtual educational courses for continuing education. We are also pleased to be able to offer our clients a discount on registration and documentation fees for all projects where NDY is engaged as the WELL Accredited Professional.”

About IWBI
The International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) is leading the global movement to transform our buildings and communities in ways that help people thrive. WELL is focused exclusively on the ways that buildings and communities, and everything in them, can improve our comfort, drive better choices, and generally enhance, not compromise, our health and wellness. IWBI convenes and mobilizes the wellness community through management of the WELL AP credential, the pursuit of applicable research, the development of educational resources, and advocacy for policies that promote health and wellness everywhere.
