NDY has successfully completed six new office fitouts for international legal firm, DAC Beachcroft including Dublin, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and their global headquarters in London.
Pre-lease support was provided in multiple regions to assist client decisions with optimum building selection, to suit their operational profile. In each of the DAC Beachcroft buildings, NDY’s team of experts guided both client and architect through informed design decisions related to the MEP systems to deliver optimum and sustainable operational efficiency, space, comfort and business functionality.
NDY provided solutions to deliver high acoustic performance for legal arbitration meeting rooms in each location. For example, close coordination of new partitions and cross talk attenuation; controlling air path and noise between rooms with base building systems was undertaken to maximise the efficiency of the design resulting in time and cost savings to the overall project.
NDY was actively involved with the Dublin based client team members and contractors to ensure smooth running of the project all the way through design and construction. Through this collaborative and practical approach, NDY fulfilled the client’s aspirations for an agile and flexible commercial office space. Our design made maximum use of the base building chilled beam system, but also included additional cooling equipment and fresh air to cater for the event of high occupancy. DAC Beachcroft (DACB) Dublin is a three floor Cat B fitout at Three Haddington Buildings.
NDY supported DACB through a challenging consolidation from their three existing London offices into a single facility that embraces an agile working environment for their team. The new Cat B fitout includes open seating, breakout collaboration areas, client facing meeting and conference rooms with audio visual and video conferencing capabilities, front desk reception with client lounges providing guest amenities, a refurbished kitchen, employee pantry with breakout space for gatherings and events, as well as the provision of new staff toilets. Three existing communications rooms were also refurbished and allocated new UPS provision.
NDY continues to provide ongoing engineering consultancy support for client maintenance and operations, post occupancy, across their portfolio.
