NDY delivered design and site supervision duties for the mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and vertical transportation disciplines on the Southern Cross Caledonian Road Consulting Suites development.
The project consists of a new four level building on the site of the old Mackintosh House on Caledonian Road. The new building will house two floors of consulting rooms and two floors of car parking.
The client’s brief to make the services as independent as possible from the existing site infrastructure, along with the subsequent level of coordination required with the proposed structural design solution for the building, were specific challenges to the design team.
NDY collaborated closely with other members of the team to meet these particular requirements.
